Established in mid-Seventies, Industrie Plastiche Lombarde S.p.A. is today a global leading manufacturer and supplier of high technical flexible hoses in TPU, PVC and other plastic materials.

For over 40 years IPL has been operating in the industrial and food sectors, through a wide range of products, meeting the highest quality standards and responding with accuracy, flexibility and effectiveness to the evolution of the customers’ needs.

In addition to the proven high-quality of the raw materials used and of its products, IPL has always been placing at the service of its customers all the resources and expertise gained over the years, throughout an incessant pursuit of innovative materials, cutting-edge technologies and refining the professional skills of its Team, to ensure adequate support and reliability of its products.

IPL holds ISO 9001:2015 and for almost 10 years IPL has voluntary brought its production system in line with requirements of GMP certification. In particular, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) cover production processes, traceability and quality control for pharmaceutical and foodstuff hoses.

The Headquarters and manufacturing plant are located in Besozzo (VA) covering a large area of 55.000 mq, with a well-equipped R&D laboratory, Sales Department and operations areas, as well as two large warehouses for stocking raw materials and finished products.

IPL offers a wide and complete range of flexible solutions, covering the most application fields and serving different industrial segments: agriculture, plastics industry, woodworking, air and ventilation, shipyards, liquid handling, food and pharma industries and petrochemical are just some of the market areas we actively serve.

IPL provides to its customers tailor-made solutions, expert assistance and constant training, to meet the most demanding requests and supply the most appropriate product, depending on the application.

IPL Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 scenario

Since 2018 IPL has been adopting the Lean Manufacturing Method invented by Toyota to keep up with the 4th Industrial Revolution, following its programme guidelines in every step of the production process. This ambitious and innovative project represents a real cultural change, with the aim of implementing solutions that enhance excellences and strengthen competitiveness, in this age where flexibility and adaptability are the essential basis for a best-in-class business model.

Under the “Lean” programme, IPL also aims to fight and reduce the level of waste, through the empowerment of its Team and respecting the resources.
